Beach Family Photograph Session in Dubai, UAE

 

Alexis and John got in touch with me requesting one thing: to help them commemorate their wonderful 3 years in Dubai, during which they had welcomed a brand new addition to their family, the incredibly cute and smiley little Christopher. They were nearing the end of their stay, in the middle of packing to move back to Houston, TX, yet Alexis and John wanted to take photos around the city at some of their favorite places so they can show Christopher when he grows up what a wonderful place Dubai had been. We had an AWESOME time at the beach together. The weather was absolutely perfect and everything came together beautifully. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Thank you for allowing me to do this for you guys, and I wish you all the best back home!

First birthdays are huge milestones! My favorite way to celebrate has to be, hands down, with cake! Not just eating it, of course, but also through a cake smash. It's quite usually, the first time a baby has ever touched, tasted or experienced cake, let alone anything sweet, and the reactions can be wide ranging from extreme delight to extreme disgust. We had both during Badr's session, it was actually quite hilarious! Badr wasn't too fond of the texture of the cream and kept trying to run away. It took a bit of coaxing to have him finally "smash" the cake but eventually he enjoyed it and there was no stopping him. Happy birthday little man! May you live a long and happy life. Ameen.
