As a parent to an active toddler, I'm always on the lookout for fun things to do around the city. We're huge fans of nature, and being outdoors in our family, and when I heard that a little rainforest by the name of The Green Planet has opened up in City Walk, I couldn't wait to take B to check it out! We have just come back from a trip to Turkey, and I got to see first hand his inherited love for the outdoor, so this was meant to be a really nice treat for him, specially living in a modern, (although incredibly beautiful!) concrete jungle. Here are some photos from our trip.. mind you, running after an excited toddler meant I couldn't take many pictures :)

The Green Planet is open Saturday through Wednesday from 10am - 10pm, and on Thursdays and Fridays from 10am - Midnight. Children under 2 years old enter for free.

It is always such an honor when a family chooses you as their photographer. Whether it's for a family photoshoot, documenting the arrival of a new family member, an engagement...any event really. It is an amazing responsibility that cannot be taken lightly.

When I was contacted by David to document his first time meeting Dario, his very first grandchild, I could hardly contain my words, specially when I found out that his son, Henry and, now Dario, are his only two blood relatives in this entire world. I was very humbled and felt really emotional. I had already documented the birth of Henry and Nazli's sweet little Dario,  which you can see here,  and to now shoot another huge milestone as this, meeting the grandparents, was incredibly special.

David, Henry, Nazli and Arsalan, I hope I have done this special meeting justice in your eyes, and I hope you enjoy these pictures for many years to come.
