I always look forward to November. Every year. This year, November was a month of great growth for me and my family. We were challenged in more ways than one, learned a few difficult lessons, and grew stronger in our faith in God. To say November has been easy would be a lie, however, I am happy that we were able to sail through. Here's looking back at our November.
Check out this incredibly sweet article Kelle wrote about her son. I've been following Kelle's blog for a while now, and this blog post really hit home for me because it is how I feel sometimes about my little son, Badr.
“It’s a phase, right?” I ask a mom friend whose once beautifully wild boy like Dash is all grown up and funneling his wildness into grand, world-changing efforts.
“He’s three, right?” she asks.
“Yes, three.”
Except that in our household, we are turning two. Yes, the terrible twos are finally upon us :) And I know one day I will look back and I will miss this stage of his life SO dearly, so I'm going to enjoy this while it lasts and hope that he, too, will grow up to be the kind, charming, responsible young man that I hope he will be.
